Employee Spotlight
Natasha Hamlin is the Executive Assistant to the Vice Dean of Medical Education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She brings over 9 years of administrative experience with expertise in scheduling and correspondence. Having held positions in various departments at UMMC, Natasha is able to adapt her skills to meet the needs of her executives.
The U has always been home to Natasha. Her grandmother retired from UMMC as a unit secretary in the Radiology Department. Also, her mother obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Radiology Technology at UMMC and is still working at the U in that field. Natasha has many memories from childhood “working” with her mom in the file room and assisting her grandmother at the front desk. She remembers the kindness of the doctors & nurses most. She strives to provide the same impact on those she encounters in her role as executive assistant.
In addition to her executive duties, Natasha is wife, mother, student, and choreographer. She’s very active in her church and community. She loves reading, traveling, and fishing. Natasha looks forward to building new relationships, being a part of the team, and contributing to the overall experience of the medical students completing their education at UMMC.
